2026 Summer Solstice Celebration

Join us on June 20th, 2026 for the Coxheath Hills annual Summer Solstice celebration! The fun begins at 6:00 PM with a hike to the lookoff (this is a great chance to see the newly-developed sections of the main trail!), followed by an open mic outdoor concert and campfire from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. All are welcome to attend. Donations are greatly appreciated.

Music and Conversation at the Coxheath Community Centre – May 31st, 2026

Join us at the Coxheath Community Centre on May 31st for “Music and Conversation” presented by Shirley & Co. The perfect event for any music lover, this month’s performance will feature Janet Bickerton and the barbershop quartet ‘Class Act’. This month’s event will be hosted from 2:00 – 4:30 PM. “Out of the Woods” Monthly Open Mic Session

The Coxheath Hills Wilderness Recreation Association is proud to announce the return of “Out of the Woods” – a monthly open mic session hosted by local musicians. This month’s session will be hosted by ‘Once Again’ on Saturday, March 21st from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Coxheath Hills Community Centre. Admission is free (donations at the door welcomed)

Dessert Social

Join us at the Coxheath Hills Community Centre on Sunday, February 15th from noon to 3:00 PM to enjoy a decadent dessert with a cup of tea! Tickets can be purchased for $10 ($5 for kids 12 and under) at Meadow’s Pharmasave, Keltic Kubota, and JR Mahoney’s, or by contacting coxheathhills@gmail.com. Proceeds will go towards the maintenance of the CHWRA’s facilities and trails.

WILDERNESS CONNECTIONS: Outdoor Education Series (Spring 2025

Join us for a three-part outdoor education series, “Wilderness Connections,” designed to welcome and empower participants—especially members of the newcomer and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. These sessions will be fun, hands-on learning in nature. Rooted in accessibility, belonging, and intercultural connection, this series helps reduce barriers to outdoor recreation and leadership, and help people get active in the great outdoors!
